A new report suggests that the latest set of WWE releases that happened today “blindsided” many people in the company.
The eight names released today were:
- John Morrison
- Tegan Nox
- Shane Thorne
- Jaxson Ryker
- Drake Maverick
- Isaiah Scott
- Top Dolla
- Ashante Adonis
Andrew Zarian tweeted that a source told him: “Many within the company were blindsided by this set of releases”, before adding that he was told last week that the previous set of releases (on November 4) was expected to have been the last of this year.
However, it was anticipated that releases will be a “regular occurence” moving forward.
He was also told:
“Unfortunately there are a lot of all-star players who will never get a chance to get off the bench.”
There are countless names included in both today’s set of releases and the ones from earlier this month that you can apply that sentence to.
