Goldberg was announced to be a guest on Miz and Morrison’s Dirt Sheet on WWE Monday Night Raw. On a night where we got many cultural references from the mid-2000s, we got another blast from the past on Raw.
Instead of Goldberg, a legend in his own right made a triumphant return to Raw. Yep, Gillberg once again was brought to Raw to parody Goldberg.
Duane Gill has now been booked in every decade since the 90s on WWE programming as the Gillberg character. While he may not be a legend for his in-ring accomplishments, there have been very few parody characters who have stood the test of time like Gillberg.

He faced off against a parody Drew McIntyre. This was all set up for Miz to say he was going to walk out of The Royal Rumble as WWE Champion. In fact, he claimed to be who’s next.
Congrats to Gillberg for getting another booking on WWE. He wasn’t the only star from the 90s who made an appearance on Raw. Jeff Jarrett also made a cameo predicting Goldberg for the win.
