With the shock announcement that Vince McMahon is retiring, fans and wrestlers alike hopped on social media to share their thoughts.
Coming on the heels of Vince McMahon making the shock announcement that he was retiring from WWE today (July 22) one longtime McMahon associate is slamming fans online for their response.
Longtime McMahon confidant and noted on-screen Vince McMahon “stooge” Gerald Brisco shot back at fans on Twitter who were celebrating the retirement of Vince McMahon, using plenty of pro wrestling jargon in the process.
Dropping his thoughts on Twitter, Brisco wrote:
“Disappointed to see all you jabronis celebrating the retirement of the man who created a world that gave you so much enjoyment growing up. If Vince never existed, all you marks would have sadder lives than you already do.”
McMahon’s announcement comes on the heels of continued investigations regarding alleged sexual misconduct including millions in “hush pact” payments made to former employees and contractors related to alleged incidents.
