AEW
The son of a wrestling legend made his AEW debut at tonight’s ‘Winter Is Coming’ edition of Dynamite on December 10.
Before the live broadcast of Dynamite kicked off, there were a couple of dark matches held just for the fans in attendance.
One of those matches was notable as it featured the AEW debut of Steven Borden, the son of the legendary Sting.
Borden, who is still very young in his career, faced Kiran Grey ahead of Dynamite.
Borden made his pro-wrestling debut a few months ago after notably spending time training with Sting’s former tag team partner Darby Allin.
The debut tonight is poetic as it took place at Winter Is Coming, five years on from when Sting made his own AEW debut appearance at Winter Is Coming in December 2020.
Borden and Grey already had a match against each other at DEFY Wrestling’s Aeon show on November 21 in Seattle, Washington.
In addition to that, Borden has one other match officially to his name – his debut which saw him team with JD Drake in a loss to Darby Allin and Killer Kross at Awesome Championship Wrestling in October.
