An update has emerged on the announced attendance figure for All In London at Wembley Stadium, which was billed as the biggest show in pro-wrestling history.

Ahead of the August 27 event, it was reported that the show had broken the record for the post paid tickets sold for a wrestling event.

During the event, it was revealed that were was a total of 81,035 paid attendance at London’s Wembley Stadium, officially marking AEW All In as the biggest paid ticketed event in wrestling history.

It has now been confirmed by PWInsider that this number reflected the 100% legitimate paid attendance, ‘to the ticket’, meaning that there were more than 81,035 people in attendance, but this is the exact number of fans who paid for tickets.

PWInsider clarified that this number doesn’t include comps, visitors, invitees, as AEW wanted the paid number to be touted without any over-inflation.

It was previously indicated that with staff, comps, visitors etc, that the actual number of individuals in Wembley Stadium was closer to 90,000.

The notable ‘paid’ ticketed event distinction is in reference to a previous 1995 event put on jointly by NJPW and WCW in North Korea, which had a higher attendance, however attendance was mandated.
