Length Of WWE’s Stay In New ThunderDome Venue Revealed?

Some details on how long WWE could be staying at the Amway Center in Orlando with its Thunderdome appear to have been revealed.

The first ever live show from the ThunderDome will air live tonight with SmackDown, and the length of WWE’s contract with the venue has been reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The WON notes that the contract currently lasts until October 30, meaning, if that stays the same, there will be three pay-per-views held there.

Those pay-per-views are set to be SummerSlam on August 22, Payback on August 29, and Clash of Champions on September 27.

Of course, WWE and the Amway Center could always negotiate a new deal to extend its stay, but will likely want to wait until we know what the COVID-19 situation is before doing that.

AEW is selling tickets for shows now at 10-15% capacity of Daily’s Place, starting August 27, so it’s pretty likely WWE will want to do the same if it can.
