Last night, news broke that WWE had released 13 members of the NXT roster from their contracts.
Among the list of names was former North American Champion Leon Ruff, who was actually scheduled to compete later in the night against Grayson Waller after his release was announced.
Ruff has since taken to his Twitter to comment on his WWE release. He said:
“I was able to compete against and earn respect from wrestlers I looked up to. Make an impact in/and inspire the WWE universe. And everyday I got to go to work with my best friend. Thank you all for the love -Leon”
