Likely Plan For Major WWE Feud

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, it was speculated that the likely direction for the Sasha Banks and Bayley feud is for a match between the two former best friends next month at Hell in a Cell.

Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer noted that it’s likely that we’ll see the two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions compete inside a Hell in a Cell match at the pay-per-view next month.

After months of teases, Bayley finally turned on Sasha Banks on the 09/04 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Bayley explained her actions with a scathing promo on last week’s show.

On the same show, Nikki Cross defeated Alexa Bliss, Tamina and Lacey Evans to earn a shot at Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view that is scheduled for later this month.

While many were hoping to see Sasha Banks selling her injuries for several weeks by staying off TV, the FOX Network is promoting an appearance from “The Boss” on next week’s episode of SmackDown.

A showdown between Sasha Banks and Bayley inside Hell in a Cell next month would certainly make sense. Their storyline has been going on for well over a year now and their blood feud certainly warrants the gimmick match.
