In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has revealed a potential spoiler for which match is going to be selected as the main event of night one of WrestleMania 37.
In the latest issue, Meltzer notes that in many rundowns of night one of WrestleMania, Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair is listed as the show’s main event instead of Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre:
The rest of the 4/10 show is Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair for the Smackdown women’s title, which is being positioned in many card rundowns as the main event, on top of Lashley vs. McIntyre.
This week, reports suggested WWE is considering not having a kickoff show match on WrestleMania night one, so it’s likely that McIntyre vs. Lashley will be given the illustrious spot of being the first match in front of the live crowd.
At this time, WWE has not confirmed which match will be going on last, but has called both Banks vs. Belair and Lashley vs. McIntyre the “main event” at various points over the last few weeks.
