Returning WWE Raw ring announcer Lilian Garcia has revealed when she got the call to make her return to the company.
Ahead of the October 21 edition of WWE Raw, Samantha Irvin announced that she would be departing the company, leaving a huge void for the company to fill.
The person to fill said void would be Lilian Garcia, who was returning to the role for the first time since 2016.
Speaking via an Instagram Q&A, Garcia spoke more on here return to the company, in which she revealed that she first got the call from WWE a “few weeks ago”.
Garcia said:
“When I got the call, just a few weeks ago, I got the call to come back. I felt like this was my dad and his gift, bringing me to this again.
“I have missed you guys and I will say that when my music hit and I came out in Philadelphia, I was not prepared for the love. I feel like this massive wall came through me with this rush and this energy. I thank you so much.”
Garcia would also explain her WWE departure in 2016, saying she had to step away from her role in order to care for her father, who sadly passed away on Christmas Day.
