List Of Released Stars To Be Included In WWE 2K22 WWE

A new report has revealed that over 30 released names will be part of the launch roster for WWE 2K22.

With WWE releasing over 80 names in 2021, departures from the company had a big impact on the game’s development. It had previously been reported that WWE’s round of Performance Center cuts last summer drastically affected plans for DLC.

A total of 35 talents set to feature in the game as playable characters have previously left the company. Keith Lee, Kyle O’Reilly and Buddy Matthews (Murphy) will be included in the game despite having since signed with AEW, with others including Isaiah Scott (Sw3rve The Realest) and Jeff Hardy expected to follow very soon.

  • Ariya Daivari
  • Billie Kay
  • Braun Strowman
  • Brian Kendrick
  • Cesaro
  • Danny Burch
  • Ember Moon
  • Fandango
  • Gran Metalik

Also still in the game despite having been let go by WWE last year is ring announcer Greg Hamilton, who of course isn’t a playable character. It’s also believed Scarlett (Bordeaux) will be in the game as a manager but not playable.

Several of these names have appeared in promotional material for the upcoming release, including Karrion (Killer) Kross, who was featured in a recent gameplay clip. You can view the full WWE 2K22 launch roster here.

WWE 2K22 is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 11, 2022, and is currently available for pre-order.
