WWE star and manager MVP has now dropped a new hip-hop song called ‘Against The Ropes’ .
MVP teamed up with Dwayne Swayze who he was worked with on several occasions before, as well as Mega Ran.
Teek Hall & G1ToTheRescue are credited as official featured artists on the song.
You can listen to the track and watch the lyric video for ‘Against The Ropes’ below.
MVP is currently a free agent within WWE. He and Omos became free agents after MVP ‘negotiated a deal’ to maximise Omos’ visibility on both Raw and SmackDown.
Omos hasn’t wrestled on TV since losing to Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash in May.
He has since competed at house shows, most recently defeating Rick Boogs on June 25.
MVP himself hasn’t stepped into a ring since teaming with Omos to take on Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of the Street Profits in July 2022.
During Omos’ absence from TV, MVP has been teasing a reunion of the Hurt Business.
This could technically happen, as while Bobby Lashley was drafted to SmackDown, MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin are all free agents.
This is a big weekend for WWE, with the highly anticipated Money in the Bank premium live event emanating from the O2 Arena in London, England on Saturday (July 1).
