Lita Reveals The Former WWE Star Who Leant Her Clothes For Raw Return

WWE’s plan for Lita vs. Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber 2022 came together last minute and caused a last minute scramble.

In a recent interview with Ring The Belle, Lita revealed how short notice it was and how she had to reach out to a friend for an outfit before her surprise appearance on the January 31 edition of WWE Raw in Cincinnati.

It was none other than former WWE commentator Renee Paquette, who recently moved to Cincinnati. Lita stated:

“These are her clothes because that is how little time I had to prepare.

“They’re like, ‘Can you come?’ So yeah, after St. Louis, I was supposed to go home. And on Sunday I drove to Cincinnati and swung by Renee’s house and I’m like, ‘Girl, what can I wear?’”

Lita continued on to detail how the match with Lynch came about for the WWE Hall of Famer, saying:

“(John Laurinaitis) asked me.

“He’s like, ‘Do you want to fight Becky?’ I’m like, ‘Wait what? Like, you know that I do. You know that she does.’ And he’s like, ‘How about in like, two weeks?’ And I was like, ‘No, but yes’. No, only because I want to train and have it go – but yeah. It’s like seize the moment, take the opportunity when it’s there, it’s sort of all out in the wash.”

This showdown with Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber 2022 marks the first female singles match for Lita since she retired in 2006.
