Syko, who played the role of ‘Little John Cena’ on WWE Raw this week, has commented on his appearance with Dominik Mysterio.

Mysterio is set to challenge John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series this Saturday.

On Raw this past Monday, with Cena having no Raw appearances left following the previous week, Mysterio instead set up a segment with ‘Little John Cena.’

That role was played by Syko from Big Little Brawlers, Micro Championship Wrestling and the Micro Wrestling Federation, real name Derec Pemberton.

Following his appearance, Syko appeared on Busted Open to reflect on his experience, saying:

“It was an unbelievable moment. An out of body experience. It almost didn’t feel like it was real.

“That was a dream come true. I knew one day I would be on that stage, but to actually be there, it was amazing.

“I’ve put in a lot of work to get to where I’m at today, but when I was out there, the gratitude I had, and then feeling like, ‘Do I really deserve this? I can’t believe I actually accomplished this.'”

Syko was then asked what the conversations were like with WWE creative regarding the segment. He explained:

“I wasn’t for sure exactly. They told me a little bit of what I was doing, but they hadn’t decided if it was gonna be me or the other guy, Lil Tucker.

“So me getting there, I wasn’t fully knowing what I was getting myself into. They didn’t wanna let it out either, they wanted to keep it a surprise.”

Syko was then asked why WWE went with him in the John Cena role instead of Lil Tucker, who played the role of cameraman Stu instead. He replied:

“He had the gray hair that made him look more like Stu (laughs).

“And then also, Dominik Mysterio, he’s been to our show, and I had respect for him, he had respect for me, so he kind of put me over in that aspect.”
