A new report has revealed a WWE star has been pulled from a big Raw match due to injury.
On the May 8 edition of WWE Raw, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez issued the challenge for a title shot to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.
Green and Deville were having stars sign a petition for the duo to get a rematch against the champions, but Morgan and Rodriguez signed and told them they could get their opportunity on the May 15 episode.
After defeating Damage CTRL on the May 12 episode of SmackDown, the bout was scheduled for tonight’s show. However, this will not be happening now.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Liv Morgan was injured in the title defense against Damage CTRL according to WWE sources.
Morgan was scheduled for a Cricket Wireless meet and greet on Monday morning, but was replaced by Dolph Ziggler due to her injury.
The severity of the injury or when the injury occurred in the bout hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.
The scheduled title match has now been changed for tonight’s Raw broadcast. It hasn’t been confirmed what will become of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships due to this injury either.
We will have further updates in regards to Liv Morgan’s injury when they become available.
