The latest update has emerged regarding Liv Morgan and her status for WrestleMania after injury concerns coming out of WWE Raw.
In a backstage segment on Raw last night, Morgan was having a face to face conversation with Roxanne Perez where they were about to discuss Finn Balor being kicked out of Judgment Day while Perez was off TV.
However, Morgan’s WrestleMania opponent Stephanie Vaquer rushed Morgan from behind and sent her crashing into Perez resulting in them clashing heads in a pretty brutal collision.
Morgan and Perez have since taken to social media to state that they’re doing okay, but both had visible injuries.
In an new update on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez reports that they were both placed in concussion protocol and things are now “wait and see” as to whether Morgan will be cleared for her match against Vaquer at WrestleMania.
He said:
“They were both put in concussion protocol… it’s wait and see.
“I was pretty much told, if WrestleMania was this weekend, that match probably ain’t happening.
“Two weeks from now, I guess we’ll see if it happens.”

It’s worth noting that concussion protocol doesn’t mean they’re confirmed to have concussions, just that it’s suspected and they’ll undergo tests to see if it’s actually the case.
We send our best wishes to Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez as they recover.
Bizarre WrestleMania ‘Standby’ Match Situation
In an odd note, Alvarez also had an update regarding the status of Asuka vs IYO SKY for WrestleMania – a match that has been planned for a while but not yet announced.
Michael Cole mentioned on commentary during WWE Raw last night that Nikki Bella was still working on reocvering from her recent ankle injury and hoping to be back in time for Mania.
Per Alvarez, he’d heard that the Asuka vs SKY match was on standby because if Bella remains injured, Asuka and Kairi Sane could be added to the four-way Women’s Tag Team Title match to replace the Bella Twins.
This seems like a strange decision when that match could simply become a three-way, or even another team like Giulia and Kiana James could be added while still keeping the Asuka vs SKY plans intact.
