Popular Star Reveals WWE Has Rejected Several Extreme Pitches WWE

Liv Morgan has teased the introduction of a hardcore persona, revealing that WWE has turned down several of her extreme pitches.

Speaking with Ryan Satin on Out of Character, Morgan noted that she fell in love with WWE as a kid because of the extreme stipulations, so those are the type of matches she’s interested in competing in.

Discussing her current run, Morgan said:

“It’s only going to get more hardcore. That’s the reason why I fell in love with WWE. I was five years old, it wasn’t like the story that got me, it was the extreme, the TLC matches, the hardcore matches.

“That’s what really caught my eye and made me fall in love with wrestling. To fast forward and being able to live out this crazy extreme fantasy that I’ve always had, it feels so fitting and full circle.

“I wouldn’t want to do anything else right now. I thoroughly enjoy myself and having fun and seeing how else I can show how extreme I am. I’m excited to see where I can go and take it.”

When it was noted that Morgan seemed to be interested in wrestling a deathmatch, Morgan interestingly replied:

“If I was able to tell you the things that I’ve pitched, and they’re just like ‘No.'”

Morgan went on to note:

“That’s how I feel right now. I feel like my back is against the wall. Who wants some? Are you sure you want some? Are you sure you want to do this extreme rules match with me?

“I will put this table on fire and I want to add thumbtacks.”

A thumbtack spot might’ve been one of the pitches that WWE denied, as Ronda Rousey previously stated that she was told WWE stars cannot use thumbtacks as weapons anymore.

Morgan also spoke about her run since losing the SmackDown Women’s Title, which you can read more about right here.
