An update has emerged on the status of WWE star Liv Morgan and her recent absence as she’s been in Japan filming Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.
Morgan announced on Raw a couple of weeks ago that she’d be off TV to film a big Hollywood project, which ended up being Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which is of course being filmed in Japan.
As such, Morgan has been away and off TV, but her return could be approaching.
As reported by PWInsider, Morgan finished up filming for her role earlier this week, and she’s expected to return to WWE TV “very soon” at this point.
In regards to her acting performance, sources say that she was a “complete natural” on set and “absolutely crushed” her role in the movie.
It was added that she “blew everyone away” with how well she did, including industry veterans.
Morgan is currently one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Raquel Rodriguez, who has remained on TV amid her partner’s absence.
WWE did not strip them of the championship due to Morgan being away after they became record four-time champions together on the Raw after WrestleMania.
