Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the NXT: New Year’s Evil special. This should be a monumental show with a number of title matches set for tonight’s card. Of course the biggest match of all is the rematch from NXT TakeOver 31 pitting Finn Balor against Kyle O’Reilly.
Here is the full card for tonight’s New Year’s Evil show.
- NXT Championship Match – Finn Balor (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly
- NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match – Santos Escober (c) vs. Gran Metalik
- Last Woman Standing Match – Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez
- Karrion Kross vs. Damian Priest
- Xia Li and Boa return.
It should be noted that the Fight Pit match between Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher has been dropped from WWE’s advertising of tonight’s show. Dave Meltzer has reported that this is because one of them has suffered an injury and as such the match will not take place tonight.
