NXT Cruiserweight Championship 2 Out of 3 Falls Match - Kushida (c) def. Santos Escobar
As soon as the bell rang Santos Escobar attacked Kushida and sent him to the floor. While the referee was distracted, Legado del Fantasma went after Kushida and MSK flew out of the crowd to break it up. Referees sent both teams to the back.
The match settled down from this point and the two traded submission attempts with Escobar doing his Boston Crab on the steps with Kushida’s neck being crushed by the post. Back in the ring their submission attempts continued until Escobar hit a knee strike and a kick to take control until he hit the Phantom Driver for the win in the first fall.
Kushida immediately popped back up and hit a springboard back elbow and locked in the armbar for the win in the second fall.
This is where the bulk of the match took place as they traded control throughout with Kushida hitting a nasty brainbuster in the corner. Kushida went for the Hoverboard lock but Escobar was able to counter with a rollup.
Kushida eventually hit the big slam off the top rope and locked in the Hoverboard Lock until Escobar got the ropes. Kushida kept hold of the arm and hit a modified dragon suplex in the ring for the win.
Great match to end a great show.
Kyle O'Reilly def. Oney Lorcan
This match started with grappling as Kyle O’Reilly hit a big kick to Oney Lorcan’s leg. They battled over headlocks and strikes and eventually O’Reilly countered with an arm-lock in the ropes.
Pete Dunne tried to attack O’Reilly but O’Reilly was prepared for him. With the distraction, Lorcan attacked O’Reilly from behind as they went to commercial.
Back in the ring and Lorcan had the heat with strikes. Eventually, O’Reilly fired up with strikes of his own. O’Reilly swept Lorcan’s leg and hit a running forearm in the corner before doing his finishing sequence and hitting a brainbuster and his flying knee drop for the win.
After the match, Dunne and Lorcan attacked O’Reilly until Bobby Fish made his return to clear the ring. Kyle told Fish he is doing his own thing now and Fish said he understood and has his own thing to do in the meantime.
Ted DiBiase Pisses off Cameron Grimes
There was a vignette with Cameron Grimes where he was at an auction for a house. It led to a man bidding $20 million dollars for the house. Grimes freaked out and turns out it was Ted DiBiase.
Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott Introduces Hit Row
Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott brought out his new faction and introduced them as Hit Row. He said things are going to get scary as he has his entourage. He introduces Top Dollar, B-Fab, and Ashante Adonis.

The Way attacked Bronson Reed backstage. Just like the headline says.
NXT Women's Championship Match - Raquel Gonzalez (c) def. Mercedes Martinez
Mercedes Martinez and Raquel Gonzalez started the match with a bunch of strikes. They continued to the floor where Martinez hit a rolling senton to the floor as the show went to commercial.
They brawled as the show came back from commercial and Martinez grabbed a sleeper hold. Gonzalez rammed her into the turnbuckle to break the hold. They both continued to hit big moves until Martinez hit a spear on the apron.
They went into the finishing sequence as Martinez hit Gonzalez with knees and strikes until ultimately Raquel Gonzalez managed to get the win with her chokebomb.
Pete Dunne def. Leon Ruff
Pete Dunne issued an open challenge which was answered by Leon Ruff who was told he couldn’t compete tonight by William Regal.
Ruff jumped Dunne at the bell but Dunne quickly gained the advantage with his grappling. He targeted Ruff’s fingers and arm and beat him down for most of the match. Ruff got a brief resurgence but went for his twisting cutter and was punched in midair.
Dunne locked in a triangle choke and elbowed Ruff into submission.
After the match, Dunne snapped Ruff’s fingers and left with Oney Lorcan.
Johnny Gargano breaks William Regal's pencil
Johnny Gargano barged into William Regal’s office and yelled about having to face Bronson Reed for the NXT North American title next week. Regal told him he had to do it and Gargano broke his pencil. Funny stuff.
MSK def. Breezango
Tyler Breeze and Wes Lee did an opening sequence where they matched the other move for move before tagging in Nash Carter and Fandango. Nash and Fandango also did an opening sequence however this one was more something you would see in PWG as the referee did a dropdown and a leapfrog.
The match continued back from commercial and MSK managed to get the upper hand. Carter hit a moonsault on the outside before MSK hit their assisted moonsault for a nearfall. Finally, they managed to hit their finisher for the win.
Commentary was pushing the frustration of Breezango hard and they were upset after the match so perhaps they could be nearing a split.
Karrion Kross def. Austin Theory
Austin Theory did not want to get in the ring for his match with Karrion Kross.
Theory rushed Kross but Kross shrugged off Theory’s dropkick. Kross absorbed a clothesline and delivered one of his own. Kross delivered more of his dominant strikes and threw a nice Saito suplex.
Johnny Gargano distracted the referee and Theory raked Kross’ eyes. Theory pushed Kross into the barricade and hit him with a DDT on the floor. Theory tried to get the pin but Kross kicked out at one.
Theory hit a fallaway slam but Kross got up and hit a Saito suplex and beat Theory down with forearm strikes before choking him out for the win.
After the match, Finn Balor was in the ring and challenged Kross to a match which Kross accepted. Maybe a Takeover main event.
Welcome to our live coverage of WWE NXT! With two title matches to come and a new NXT Takeover event on the horizon, this week’s show has the potential to become very newsworthy.
