It’s time for another edition of everyone’s favorite weekly episodic television show! Tonight’s Raw will have WWE Champion Big E teaming with Drew McIntyre against The Dirty Dawgs along with these featured matches:

  • Charlotte Flair defends the Raw women’s title against Bianca Belair

  • Doudrop and Shayna Baszler face off in  the Queen’s Crown semifinals with Xavier Woods and Jinder Mahal in the King of the Ring semifinals

  • Street Profits vs. RK-Bro

The Main Event

Charlotte Flair

Collar and elbow to start. Both ladies miss with dropkicks and bounce back up in synch. Shoulder to the midsection from Belair in the corner. Elbow from Flair to counter. The action heads outside and Belair gets tossed over the announce table before what is hopefully the final ad break.

Bodyslam from Belair as this match is back on air but Flair offers up a kick to Bianca’s stomach. She fights back and lands a moonsault. Stalling suplex for two from Belair. Stomps and she goes for a splash, but Flair gets her knees up. Flair picks up Belair with one arm and puts her on her back for a two count. A bit later, Belair gets a nice pop off a spinebuster. Flair retreats.

Outside now, Belair sends Flair over the announce table as this goes to break.

Flair sends Belair to the canvas off a chop out of the break. Two count for Belair on a sloppy roll-up after what looked to be a Glam Slam. Forearm from the EST on the apron and Flair counters with a right hand. Flair goes up top. Flair hits her standard moonsault to the outside. Inside now, Flair gets two off of a spear, halting Belair’s momentum that started with a modified Glam Slam.

Flair goes up top again. Belair turns a failed moonsault into a counter-suplex for two. Belair goes high but Flair hits a kick. Sunset flip powerbomb off the top from the challenger again only gets two. Flair goes to the outside for some plunder, hitting Belair with a chair for the DQ. Belair counters with a dropkick and chair shot to send the show off the air.

Really fun main event, a predictable winner.

KOTR Build-Up

Finn Balor

Back from an ad break, Finn Balor is in the ring to battle Mace.  Big knee to the torso and Mace throws Balor in a corner. Strikes and a crushing running elbow now. A black hole slam gets Mace two. Balor hits a double stomp. Slingblade! He goes high. Coup de Grâce from Balor for the W as Xavier Woods looks on from the Raw stage before the two meet at Crown Jewel.

The two have a chat on the stage, coming nose to nose but Kofi Kingston arrives and at least for tonight, things don’t get physical.

John Morrison is backstage with the Viking Raiders in search of his…chi. And yet again, I am questioning my life choices. Thanks, WWE. Flair vs. Belair is next!

Queen's Crown Semis

Shayna Baszler

Don’t go anywhere, you might miss this one. I expect a squash in favor of the Queen of Spades. Any takers. We’ll see how things play out after a quick break.

Out of the break, Zelina Vega emerges before the match starts to observe. Shayna sticks and moves early but can’t overpower Dougdrop. Big suplex and then a cannonball into the corner from Doudrop. Shayna locks in the Kirifuda clutch a couple of times but Doudrop keeps fighting. In Baszler’s finish, Doudrop forcers her to her back and gets the surprise win.

That means Doudrop will face Zelina Vega in the finals. Well, I still don’t care but I have to say I wasn’t expecting that ending.

Street Profits vs. RK-Bro

Randy Orton

Riddle is hot out of the gate, getting Ford in an armbar but Riddle gets rolled up for two as a counter. Leapfrogs and a dropkick follow from Ford. Dawkins is in. now. It’s chaos as dives to the outside take this one into another ad break.

Out of the break, Ford gets two and takes a clothesline from Orton for his effort. Riddle is in. Spinning gutwrench. Ford looks out of it. A Riddle powerbomb fails and Ford lands a kick to the back of the head. Hot tag. Dawkins is cleaning house. A modified neck breaker on Riddle gets too. Ford and Orton tag in and The Viper is going off. Randy is powering up for the RKO but Styles interferes, giving him a forearm. Omos plants Riddle. then drops Ford on his stomach. No one is safe.

The former tag champs stand tall.  Orton pulls himself up and Omos kicks him into next month.

Mansoor vs Cedric Alexander

A quick video airs showcasing Kevin Owens, who will be on Raw next week. Now it is Mansoor vs Cedric Alexander.

Cedric grounds Mansoor, as we get a graphic advertising Finn Balor vs Mace for later tonight. They pulled that one out of a hat.

Mansoor picks up the win when Ali interrupts. He moans about Mansoor still smiling after everything Ali did to him, and he’s going to finally wipe the smile off of Mansoor’s face, and everyone who will show up to support Manny. Manny snaps and tells him to shut up and that he’s not smiling right now, but he will be after Crown Jewel when he beats him senseless.

A little later Lashley and Goldberg cut promos on each other in separate locations because of the bad blood between the two. Goldberg continues to promise a homicide. I get suspending disbelief, WWE. But this takes me out of it. Too over the top. Just my opinion. RK-Bro coming up.

Big E & McIntyre vs. The Dirty Dawgs

Back from the break, Charlotte continues to complain about her match tonight, saying she can’t be replaced but also that she will go on to capture SmackDown gold again. McIntyre makes his entrance. The Dawgs entrance music is Dawg crap but that’s no surprise. This one is now underway.

Big E and Ziggler start off. Shoulder tackle. Big E gets two. McIntyre tags in after that but Ziggler works him over as Robert Roode is in now. Suplex from Drew for another close call. Shots come to Roode from the champ but Big E’s splash fails to connect on the ring apron. The champ is down as it’s time for another break.

Funny how all the babyfaces tonight lose control of their match during ad breaks. The Dawgs are in charge as Ziggler claws at the eyes of Big E. Nearly a hot tag but Drew decides against it. Neckbreaker and Big E kicks out. Roode is in briefly but Ziggler strikes E in the corner. Splash from Ziggler is countered by Big E. Finally the hot tag. Drew takes over.

Spinebuster from Roode on Drew.  Drew gets double-teamed but the combo move only gets two. Big E tags in for the finish and the victory. After another post-match clash, he shows respect to his challenger. They each say they can’t wait. We go backstage.

Street Profits promote their match and Crown Jewel. AJ Styles and Omos claim they will win the tag belts and RK-Bro will become a memory.

Austin Theory vs. Jeff Hardy

Back from break, we go into a Lashley-Goldberg Crown Jewel package. As a reminder, no holds will be barred. Goldberg says he will leave Lashley gasping for air. Lashley says Goldberg is a rabid dog that needs putting down. Theory is in the ring and Truth comes out next.

Truth said he accepted Theory’s challenge for a friend, Jeff Hardy. Rematch time. Yay!

Tie-up. Haven’t I seen this before? Theory mocks Hardy and gives up a near-fall. Dropkick from Hardy. They battle on the outside and Theory leaves Hardy on his back as we go to break.

Theory is in control out of the ad break but Hardy hits his trademark leg drop and a splash for two. A dropkick and they go ringside once again. Hardy is on the offensive but fails a high-risk move as Theory collides with the rope, shaking Hardy off. Theory plants Hardy for the win but is left looking at the lights by Hardy after the match to the delight of the fans.

A Big E-Drew recap is next. The two didn’t work well as a team last time, casting doubt on how well things will go tonight. Backstage, Drew says he saw red and Big E suggests the two should try and coexist. At Crown Jewel, may the best man win. Drew says he will. The tag match is next.

Xavier Woods vs. Jinder Mahal

Back from the break, we are treated to a Seth Rollins package and the broadcasters talk about next week’s stacked show. Mahal makes his entrance and roughly 20 minutes in, our first match begins!

They tie up then trade shots. Woods lands a middle rope dropkick. Strikes in the corner from Woods but Mahal finds an opening and takes over. Side headlock and Woods is up, giving forearm shots. Russian leg sweep. Two count soon after. Woods is dumped outside onto the steel steps as this one goes to break.

Mahal took over during the break and Woods is trying to rally. A gutbuster gets two but Woods is still in this. Side slam from Mahal. Kick to the midsection from Woods and he goes to take out Mahal’s henchmen and pays for it. He reaches the ropes and Woods goes up top. Soaring elbow drop and Woods moves on!

A Theory-Hardy recap is next then we go backstage. Austin isn’t having any 24/7 title nonsense. It’s Theory vs. R-Truth now. We should all feel so lucky! I’m very thankful for the ad break putting this next match off a bit.

Who's Ready For Conspiracy Theories!?

Charlotte Flair

The show kicks off with Charlotte Flair and, I must say…whatever the champ is wearing makes my eyes hurt. On to the opening 15-minute promo to set up the night.

Flair asks why the fans and other stars won’t give her the respect she deserves, discusses how Belair has gotten multiple title opportunities and that there is a conspiracy against her. Nothing special here. Flair says she is the mountain Bianca can’t climb and is then interrupted by the EST.

Belair disputes what the champ said and says Flair was saved by Becky Lynch. She questions why Flair is throwing a tantrum. Belair always shines. Belair says she will win the title, Flair will leave Raw and Belair drops a 17-year-old Mean Girls reference.

Belair says she will go on to win both brands’ belts and they scrap but Flair evades the challenger before anything of note goes down. KOTR highlights follow.

Woods hypes his KOTR match while dropping the (insert local sports team) line. To the first match we go after the ad break.
