WWE SmackDown Live Results – April 2, 2019

Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of the final episode of WWE SmackDown Live before WrestleMania 35 takes place this Sunday.

If you weren’t excited for this show, just remember it’s not going to end with a 25-minute Baron Corbin main event and him winning with his secondary move, so it can’t be as bad as last night’s Raw.

I shouldn’t have said that, should I?

Nevertheless, here is what’s set to be in store for us tonight, but as WWE has shown countless times now, they can just change the lineup as they please:

  • WWE Championship match contract signing with Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston… expect shenanigans
  • Randy Orton and AJ Styles to appear on the Kevin Owens show
  • Fallout from last night’s main event triple arrest
  • Further build for The Miz vs. Shane McMahon falls count anywhere match

The planned and announced Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade match has been cancelled as WWE reported that Rey suffered an injury during his match with Baron Corbin last night.
