A week removed from a successful title defense over Rey Mysterio and Andrade in a three-way, R-Truth will hold another open challenge for his United States Championship, to make his childhood hero John Cena proud.
He’s just the best, isn’t he?
Kofi Kingston had his WWE Championship match taken away last week when Vince McMahon crashed the contract signing and revealed it would be Kevin Owens taking on Daniel Bryan this Sunday at Fastlane instead.
Owens was still positioned as a babyface, teaming with Kingston to defeat Bryan and Rowan in the main event. KO got the pin on Bryan after a Stunner.
Also last week, the Hardy Boyz returned, and WWE is teasing that they’ll be back on the show tonight to prove why they are the greatest tag team in WWE.
Two additional matches have been confirmed. The Miz faces Jey Uso in a 50% preview of Sunday’s SmackDown Tag Title bout, while the Bar take on Aleister Black and Ricochet, who will challenge for the Raw Tag Titles on Sunday.
