Current WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury has made several appearances in WWE in recent years.
Fury wrestled for the company against Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel in 2019, scoring a countout victory.
Fury’s most recent appearance came at Clash at the Castle, where he knocked out Austin Theory, before singing with Drew McIntyre in the show’s bizarre ending.
Fury retained his title in a tenth round stoppage against Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night, and with no fights on his schedule, could a WWE appearance be coming up?
Tyson Fury spoke to Boxing Social prior to this weekend’s fight, where he was asked about a potential stint in WWE.
He said:
“Wrestling, here we come! WWE! I can’t wait! Smash a chair on somebody’s head.
Fury’s father John Fury has had back and forths with Jake in recent months, and Tyson seemed very down to team with his dad against the Paul Brothers.
He said:
“Yeah, sounds good. Let’s do it!”
