Logan Paul Opens Up About Doubts Prior To Re-Signing With WWE WWE

Following today’s breaking news that Logan Paul has in-fact re-signed with the WWE on a multi-year contract, Paul would speak to ESPN regarding his rookie year in WWE and his goals for the future now that he’s tied into a long-term deal.

While Paul would speak openly of his desire for long-term creative plans and even someday winning a WWE title belt, he would also admit that following numerous injury troubles thus far in his WWE career he would begin to have doubts regarding whether he could in fact have a future in WWE.

Paul would famously suffer a torn MCL following his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel back in November.

Paul would discuss the dangers of the WWE and the effect getting hurt would have on his confidence in his future in the company, noting:

“I was worried that maybe I was too fragile for this sport, having a lot of self-doubts about my vessel and my body’s capability to withstand the type of damage that you take in this sport; you have to be durable to be a wrestler.”

However, following his last match at WrestleMania 39 against Seth Rollins, Paul’s confidence would be lifted after walking away physically unscathed.

“After this WrestleMania, when I walked away unscathed — like I’m telling you unscathed, the next day I could have ran a half marathon — I got a lot more confident in my longevity in this sport.

“There’s a way to do it. There’s a way to perform where you mitigate athletic risk, and I’m gonna find it, and I’m gonna go for the long haul.”

You can find out what WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H had to say regarding Paul’s re-signing right here.
