Ahead of his match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39 Logan Paul would reveal that his WWE contract was set to expire once the weekend was over.
The news was perhaps a surprise given Paul was initially announced upon signing with WWE to be on a multi-year contract with the company.
While there has been uncertainty surrounding if and when Paul would be signing a new deal, Paul himself has been adamant about his desire to stay.
Not only that but Paul’s WrestleMania opponent Rollins would also implore WWE to re-sign the YouTuber.
Writing in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer would provide an update on Paul’s situation, revealing that while nothing has been announced, Paul may have in fact already agreed a new contract with WWE.
Meltzer said:
“Logan Paul, when talking about his contract expiring after WrestleMania, did say that he expects to sign a new deal and during the week the talk was that he did sign a new deal.”
While Paul has undoubtedly impressed thus far in his WWE run, surpassing almost everyone’s expectations, one current top star has been vocal about main roster stars being overlooked in favour of Paul, which you can read more about at this link.
