With fans looking forward to seeing a major match between Logan Paul and Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, one WWE star isn’t convinced.

Coming up on a major match against Karrion Kross at WWE’s next premium live event, Extreme Rules, Drew McIntyre spoke to My San Antonio about a variety of things, including throwing a little shade at Logan Paul.

When discussing his feud with Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship, the topic of Crown Jewel came up as Logan Paul has seemingly hopped the main event scene line, to face the Tribal Chief at the upcoming show in Saudi Arabia.

McIntyre saying of his championship hopes for the future:

“Maybe Logan Paul will be champion. I doubt it. I understand why it is happening and I get celebrity involvement, especially the ones that give their all – and we have had a few.

“Logan Paul has done a great job, but I don’t know about fighting for the titles. I think the titles should be reserved for people who worked up the card and put the time in.”

Going on to discuss what has changed in WWE since Triple H took over creative, McIntyre actually thinks things haven’t changed significantly.

McIntyre said:

“Backstage hasn’t changed too much that I can see. We are just all so busy. We already have a winning formula. We have five stadium shows a year now and are making record profits. We are doing unbelievable business all across the world.

“But there is a buzz with the product, and you can see that reflected in the ratings. And for us the biggest thing for us backstage is thinking ‘Oh my goodness are our friends going to show back up? Who is going to show up next?’”

“But I also enjoy how much attention is on the product right now because it allows us how talented everyone is and how hard we’ve been working. Wrestling is cool again and across the board it is the healthiest it has been.”

Drew McIntyre can be seen on WWE SmackDown, Fridays at 8pm EST on FOX.
