London WWE WrestleMania Plans Update WWE

An update has emerged on London’s plans to become the first international city to host WWE WrestleMania.

For many years fans in the UK have hoped to see London chosen as a future host city for WrestleMania, with the topic becoming increasingly talked about following both Triple H’s meeting with London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan in July 2024.

With WWE increasing the number of major international shows on their calendar in recent years, WrestleMania coming overseas seems likelier than ever to become a reality.

However, with WrestleMania 42 confirmed for New Orleans, LA and cities such as Nashville and Indianapolis rumored for 2027 and beyond, it remains to be seen when these plans may come to fruition.

In a new report published on the London government website detailing how sporting events boosted the city’s economy by £230 million, the possibility of WrestleMania London was mentioned, stating that Sadiq Khan “remains committed” to bringing WWE’s biggest event to England’s capital.

This echoes Khan’s comments from earlier this year, in which he expressed how major events such as WrestleMania London would help “cement” the city as the “undisputed sporting capital of the world”, with Wembley Stadium reported to be the likeliest venue to host WrestleMania should it come to London.

We will provide more updates on WrestleMania London as they become available.
