Long-Time Tag Team Forced To Disband On WWE Raw

There was a tag team match on tonight’s WWE Raw with the added stipulation that the losing team would be forced to disband.

The match was contested between Billie Kay & Peyton Royce of the IIconics and Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott of the Riott Squad, and it was the IIconics who lost out as Riott pinned Kay.

Kay and Royce even went to school together back in Australia, had their WWE tryouts together and were signed together. They very much enjoyed their WWE journeys together up until this point.

In NXT they formed a team as the Iconic Duo that got pretty over and then were brought onto the WWE main roster as the IIconics in April 2018.

They went onto win the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania last year. They were off TV for several months from November until May, but have been fairly prominent since coming back.

There were reports recently that Vince McMahon was high on the idea of pushing Peyton Royce as a singles star, so we’ll see in the coming weeks if that’s the case.
