As announced on Rampage, the Lucha Brothers will be defending the AAA World Tag Team Championship on AEW Dynamite this coming Saturday.
The opponents were only announced as a “masked tag team who are close friends of Andrade El Idolo”, but it seems we may now have an idea of who it could be.
At Héroes Inmortales XIV, the Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) retained the title against the team of Laredo Kid and El Hijo del Vikingo.
However, after the match, Penta and Fenix were confronted by Dragon Lee and Dralistico – known collectively as Los Hermanos Lee – who challenged them to a future title match.
It wasn’t confirmed that the match will happen on Dynamite, but they’re two masked wrestlers who are set up for a future title shot, so it’s as good a guess as we’re going to get at this point.
The champs also made sure to give the message that they were ready for the match “any time, any place”, which could be a possible indication of it happening outside of AAA.
The Lucha Bros’ most recent AEW action was a win over the Acclaimed on Rampage with the AEW Tag Title on the line, and they had the AAA belts with them for that match.
