Ludwig Kaiser Addresses WWE Push Complaints

WWE star Ludwig Kaiser has addressed complaints from fans – specifically German fans – hoping to see the company do more with him.

After separating from Gunther, Kaiser became embroiled in the WWE Intercontinental Championship scene in late 2024 and early 2025, but vanished from TV for a while around WrestleMania season.

He later reemerged as the new version of El Grande Americano after Chad Gable had to take time away from WWE for shoulder surgery.

Appearing on the Kennt jeder podcast with Hamad Firdousi, Kaiser discussed the demand from fans in Germany to see him do more. He said:

“I’ve always worked top guys. Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, everyone you just named (Randy Orton, Penta and Bron Breakker). I wrestled against John Cena and Seth Rollins in India. I wrestled CM Punk. This is great proof of trust from them, they know I am good.

“I feel like the people in Germany are impatient. Trust me I am, too. But you hear the people (in Germany) talk. ‘Why is he losing here? Where is the title? Why is he not Intercontinental Champion?’

“At the end of the day, I’ve been on the main roster for three years now. If you said that to a German back in the day you would have been told, ‘What? Never!’ But you can see how fast people get used to something and ask for more. 10 years ago, we would have died to have one of us (in this position). Now we’ve got one and it’s still not enough.

“It’s not like I don’t have the same thoughts in me. I want more and more. But realistically there are so many things going into this. Look, I had a great time in the feud with Sheamus, where I defeated him. A week or two later I had a match with Bron Breakker and broke my ribs. Thankfully it was really close to the commercial break. I told the ref I could not breathe. We finished the match.

“My boss Triple H said, ‘Don’t be afraid.’ But you have to be realistic. This is how our business works. If you are out, there are 10 more people waiting. It is a shark tank. You always have to be healthy, always have to perform. Just look at the PC. You can not imagine what is going on there. You can not imagine that in Germany.

“No matter who goes out, they’ve got like 15 replacements ready. You can be as good as possible. But you have to be available, you have to bring your A-Game. You can not wait. In showbusiness the show must go on. You have to fill those hours.”
