Madcap Moss Wins 2022 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Madcap Moss Wins 2022 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal wwe

After an impressive 2022 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal that kicked off tonight’s SmackDown (April 1)  Madcap Moss emerged victorious.

In the big Battle Royal, the 24/7 title picture contenders were the first to be eliminated seeing the expulsion of Akira Tozawa, Reggie and R-Truth in that order tossed over the top rope.

With the subsequent eliminations of Jinder Mahal, T-Bar and Drew Gulak, it seemed that shenanigans may be afoot as Happy Corbin came down to ringside however his presence did Madcap Moss no favors as he almost got him eliminated by tugging on the ropes.

Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, Apollo Crew, Mansoor and both Viking Raiders were next, leading to a stand off between Shanky and Commander Azeez.

The battle royal concluded rather quickly, seeing Damian Priest eliminated next and Tommaso Ciampa eliminated by the Dirty Dawgs leading to a powerful final four.

While the Dirty Dawgs are trying to eliminate Balor, Moss gets a big elimination almost getting out all three but while the Dawgs fall, Balor hangs on for the final two.

There wasn’t a lot of action between the final two as shortly thereafter Balor was bested by Moss who tossed him over the top rope to claim the 2022 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

After the match, Madcap Moss hopped on the mic to share his pride in winning as well as an unfunny joke.
