Madison Rayne AEW Debut Opponent Revealed For August 5 Rampage

We now know who Madison Rayne will be facing in her AEW debut match on tonight’s August 5 episode of Rampage.

AEW announced on Wednesday, August 3 that it had hired Madison Rayne as a coach for its women’s division, but it was announced during that night’s Dynamite that she’d have a match on Rampage.

A special edition of AEW Dark ‘Elevation’ aired Thursday, August 4, which had been taped prior to Wednesday’s Dynamite, and revealed who Rayne would be facing.

Rayne, who was on commentary for Elevation, ended up having a confrontation with TBS Champion Jade Cargill and Stokely Hathaway of the Baddies.

The result of the confrontation was Rayne saying she wanted a title shot against Cargill, but instead, she’ll be facing another member of the Baddies on Rampage – Leila Grey.

Grey was added to the Baddies a few weeks ago after Red Velvet had suffered an injury.

So to summarise, it’ll be Rayne vs Grey on Rampage tonight.

Rampage will air live, with the Saturday, August 6 Battle of the Belts show being taped afterwards.
