WWE Hall Of Famer Says There Are ‘No Problems’ In The NWA Locker Room NWA

A WWE Hall of Famer says there are “no problems” in the NWA locker room.

In November 2021, NWA announced that WWE Hall of Famer Madusa, also known as Alundra Blayze, would be joining the company in a behind the scenes role.

This announcement came off the heels of NWA Empowerrr, which was the promotion’s first all-women pay-per-view.

Madusa has worked with some of the top women’s wrestlers in the National Wrestling Alliance, including Kamille, Kenzie Paige and Allysin Kay.

Speaking with Renee Paquette on The Sessions podcast, Madusa discussed working with Billy Corgan and NWA. She said:

“So, it’s really great. Let me tell you something about Billy [Corgan]. Billy is… talk about an imagineer. To be who he is, he gets it. He’s always been a fan of pro wrestling and this man’s mind will blow you away.”

“He knows more wrestling than… he’ll pull crap out and I’ll be like ‘What? Is that true, what?’ You know, he loves the NWA and the rich history of it.”

“He loves the old school, like that TV vibe feel [in a] studio. Everything else is kind of the same out there and it’s great working for this company and having that history and that studio and that feel.”

“It’s a different vibe. I will tell you Renee, there is like, no problems in the [locker room]. It is drama-less.”

“You’ll have a few things… makeup. The damn women in the makeup, I swear. You just try to work it out but otherwise, it’s great.”
