At WrestleMania 36, Bianca Belair made her WWE main roster debut when she saved the Street Profits from an attack at the hands of Angel Garza, Austin Theory and Zelina Vega.
The following night on Raw, she proved that her ‘Mania appearance was not a one-off as she once again saved Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford from a two-on-three attack.
Bianca put on some great matches in NXT and did some brilliant character work. However, she was never able to win the NXT Women’s Championship despite being in several title matches.
Well, it seems like despite the fact that she is now a member of the Raw roster, Belair still wants to get her hands on the NXT Women’s Championship that is now held by Io Shirai.
While speaking with FOX Sports, Belair opened up about still wanting to become NXT Women’s Champion before she decides to wrap up her wrestling career:
“Of course I want to be champion across RAW, SmackDown. I want to — before the end of my career, I know I’m on RAW right now. Before the end of my career, I will say this: I want to be NXT Women’s Champion, because I worked so hard in NXT. That was my home, that’s where I started. Like I’m getting emotional talking about it. You can’t say you work hard because you’re supposed to work hard but I sacrifice more than people even know and it’s just that was what I was going for and that’s what I want so before whatever the end of my career, ten years from now. I want to be NXT Women’s Champion one day. That’s what’s here [in my heart].”
Despite being one of the best women on WWE’s books, Belair has really not been used well since her main roster debut. Let’s hope that with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch out of action for the foreseeable future, we see more of Bianca.a
