Main Roster Stars Set For Championship Match At NXT Vengeance Day

Three current main roster WWE stars are set for a championship match at the upcoming NXT Vengeance Day event.

On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, NXT Champion Oba Femi made an appearance on an episode of the Grayson Waller Effect, where he got into a war of words with both Waller and Austin Theory.

The segment ended with Oba challenging either man to an NXT Championship match at Vengeance Day, which Waller was ready to accept before Trick Williams came out, wanting his shot at the title.

Backstage, NXT General Manager Ava made a triple threat match for Vengeance Day, with Oba set to defend the NXT Championship against both Theory and Waller, but that wasn’t the only triple threat title match made for Vengeance Day.

To open tonight’s show, Bayley teamed with NXT Women’s Champion Giulia to defeat Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade.

Later in the night, Roxanne approached Ava in regards to the NXT Women’s Championship match at Vengeance Day with Ava announcing that Giulia would defend against both Bayley and Roxanne in a Triple Threat.
