Plans for an upcoming major AEW match are reportedly being closely guarded within the company ahead of All In.
The 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments are currently underway, with the finals of the tournaments set to take place at the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
The women’s tournament final is set to see Jamie Hayter face off against Mercedes Mone, while Will Ospreay will face off against either Hangman Adam Page or Kyle Fletcher, with their match set to take place on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show.
The winners of the tournaments are set to challenge for their respective world championships at the AEW All In Texas event in July, but those within AEW are reportedly keeping the men’s match close to the chest.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), a number of sources within AEW were told that both the winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, as well as the planned main event world title match at AEW All In, are being closely guarded within the company.
It is not known if this is due to the decision not yet being made, or if the company are just keeping things quiet.
Jon Moxley currently reigns as the AEW World Champion, with him set to defend the title next against Samoa Joe on the AEW Beach Break special episode of Dynamite on May 14.
