Major AEW Star Injured

Brodie Lee hasn’t been featured on AEW TV over the last few weeks, and Dave Meltzer is reporting that this is because the former TNT Champion and Dark Order star is dealing with an injury.

On the Wrestling Observer Forum, Meltzer noted that Brodie Lee is dealing with an injury right now, believed to be linked to his ankle. Thankfully, the injury is not believed to be anything serious.

Brodie Lee has been a revelation for AEW since joining the promotion in March. The former WWE star squashed Cody Rhodes back in August in an emphatic fashion to win the TNT Champion. He has since dropped the title back to Cody.

As it happens, Brodie’s last match was that unsuccessful title defence against Cody at the beginning of October. At this time, it is unclear whether or not injury forced Brodie to drop the title or if he suffered the injury in the match.

Despite Brodie not being able to wrestle, Dark Order still had a presence at Full Gear last weekend as BTE star John Silver was unable to defeat Orange Cassidy in a rather entertaining singles match.
