It has emerged that some major All Elite Wrestling stars nearly missed this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
The Young Bucks worked the opening match of the show with Penta El Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston, but the tag champions nearly didn’t make it in time.
As reported by Bodyslam.net, the Bucks, Brandon Cutler, and referee Rick Knox, had their Tuesday afternoon flight from California to Dallas delayed, which caused them to miss the connecting flight to Jacksonville.
Fortunately, they managed to board a direct flight from California to Orlando on Wednesday morning, and were able to take a shuttle ride from Orlando to Jacksonville to get to the show in time.
Somewhat hilariously, this happened the final week AEW was in Jacksonville ahead of the return to touring next week, so hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come.
