After a number of major announcements from WWE this week, another one is going to be made on NXT tonight.
William Regal announced on WWE’s The Bump that this major announcement is coming. As of this writing, there is no word on what the announcement is regarding. It was later confirmed, however, that the announcement would be made by Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

This won’t be the first major announcement made in WWE this week. On Raw Becky Lynch announced that she is pregnant and vacated the Raw Women’s Championship. WWE also announced on the show that a brand-to-brand invitation has been extended, signalling the end of the brand split for the time being.
They later announced that Sami Zayn had been stripped of the Intercontinental Championship. A tournament was then confirmed to be starting on SmackDown to determine a new champion.
In addition to this announcement, there are two matches announced for tonight’s show. Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher will defend the NXT Tag Team Championships against Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium and Finn Balor will take on Cameron Grimes.
