Major Athlete Set For Appearance At WWE SummerSlam? WWE

WWE is set to bring it’s ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’, SummerSlam, to Detroit’s Ford Field on August 5.

In the past, WWE has brought in various celebrities and athletes for appearances on big shows, including Logan Paul.

Recently, Olympic Gold Medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock signed with the promotion, as well as Gable Steveson signing with the company in August 2021.

Now, another Olympic Gold Medalist has teased an appearance at WWE SummerSlam, that being two-time Gold Medal winner and current undefeated boxer Claressa Shields.

During her appearance on the MMA Hour, where she advertised her upcoming fight, she was asked by Ariel Helwani about potentially appearing in WWE.

When asked, Shields seemed to tease that there was some things in the works for her and WWE, before Helwani speculated about an appearance at SummerSlam in Detroit, with Shields herself being from Michigan.

The question was the last asked by Helwani to Shields on the show, which you can see below.
