A major change may be coming to some WWE NXT title belts.
In April 2022, WWE changed the NXT title belts to have a rainbow colored tint to them. This was to match the NXT 2.0 rainbow logo.
However, the NXT brand changed their logo to a new black, gold and white design in September following the one year anniversary of 2.0. A new report has revealed that WWE may be about to revert back to the older design.
Belt Fan Dan took to Twitter and revealed that a rumor that WWE are going to replace the rainbow version with the non-colored version of the title belts. He tweeted:
“Word on the street is the rainbow NXT belts are going to be replaced with the prior non-colored ones.”
The current champions for the brand are NXT Champion Bron Breakker, NXT Tag Team Champions New Day, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.
Perez defeated Mandy Rose to win the NXT Women’s Championship on the December 13 edition of WWE NXT, which was an abrupt decision before Rose was released by WWE today – read more about that at this link.
