Major Change To TNA Bound For Glory 2025 Match TNA Wrestling

A major change has been confirmed for a marquee match at TNA Bound for Glory 2025 following last night’s WWE NXT Showdown event.

Last night’s NXT saw the stars of WWE and TNA collide for a night of brand supremacy, with men’s and women’s stars competing in a pair of Survivor Series style elimination tag team matches and titles from both company’s also being contested elsewhere on the show.

One of the two title contests saw TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz take on NXT Tag Team Champions Darkstate in a winner-takes-all match for both sets of titles, a match that Matt and Jeff won, adding yet another major accolade to their decorated résumés.

As a result of The Hardys’ win a major change has been confirmed for their scheduled match against Team 3D at this Sunday’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view.

As announced by TNA on social media, both the TNA World Tag Team Championships and the NXT Tag Team Titles will now be on the line in the anticipated “One Final Table” match between storied rivals The Hardy Boyz and Team 3D.

Both Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley were sat in the front row during NXT Showdown last night to watch their Bound for Glory opponents capture the NXT Tag Team Titles.

It has been 15 years since Bubba and D-Von last held tag team gold in a major promotion, with their last run coming via a 78 day reign as IWGP Tag Team Champions in NJPW in 2009-2010.
