The Inner Circle’s Chris Jericho and MJF came up just a bit short in their attempt at winning the AEW Tag Team Championship at Revolution. The match was the opener on the show and was quite terrific.
However, The Young Bucks were able to retain. Later in the night, Alex Marvez interviewed Jericho and MJF after their loss.
Jericho announced there was going to be a segment on Wednesday where the Inner Circle would be hosting a war council and changes were going to come to the Inner Circle. MJF then looked him dead in the eyes and said the Inner Circle definitely needed a change.
Changes must be made within the #InnerCircle, as this Wednesday on #AEWDynamite, it will be an Inner Circle War Council! Tickets for this Wednesday's episode of #AEWDynamite are on sale NOW – https://t.co/UN1cNj1kQq pic.twitter.com/a1N3gP7oae

Given the storyline they’ve been telling, It would seem this is teasing a possible takeover of leadership in The Inner Circle.
Could we see MJF assume leadership of The Inner Circle? Is he planning a hostile takeover?
As always, WrestleTalk will be providing live coverage of Wednesday’s show.
