A major change to WWE SmackDown has been confirmed for 2025.

With WWE Raw moving to Netflix on January 6, 2025, SmackDown will continue to air on USA Network following its premiere on its new station in September.

Following reports and much speculation since their media rights with USA Network began, it has now been confirmed by WWE that SmackDown will be expanding to three hours beginning on January 3, 2025.

“SmackDown continues to air on USA Network every Friday night at 8/7 C in the U.S. At the start of 2025, SmackDown will expand to three hours starting with the Jan. 3 episode from Phoenix, Arizona.”

The SmackDown recently returned to the USA Network on September 13, 2024 after having most recently airing weekly on FOX.

WWE has continued to tout the current ‘transfer window’ by which stars from Raw, SmackDown and NXT may be traded by the general managers of the respective brands.
