A major first-time ever match has reportedly been pitched within WWE for the rumored Evolution 2 premium live event.
While the event itself has yet to be announced officially by WWE, rumors and speculation has been abound regarding the return of the company’s all women’s PLE – Evolution.
With the PLE rumored to be heading to Atlanta, GA on Saturday, July 12, a first-ever bout between Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill has been pitched to feature on the card according to WrestleVotes Radio on Sportskeeda’ Backstage Pass Patreon:
“Another little bit we’re having, we’re hearing for you guys is we are told by several in creative one of the top matches pitched for Evolution 2 is Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill.
“While seeds have been planted on TV over the past few weeks, sources indicate plans for Evolution should start to become clearer once money in the bank is complete.”
Cargill and Flair shared a tense interaction on last Friday’s episode of SmackDown, with the former AEW star telling the 14-time world champion to get to the back of the line for a WWE Women’s Title shot after losing to Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41.
We will provide further updates on Evolution 2 and any other potential matches planned for the event as news becomes available.
