It was announced last week that former AEW and IMPACT star Kylie Rae will be returning to the ring. Her return match was set for June 5 for Warrior Wrestling with her opponent scheduled to be Thunder Rosa.
Now, Fightful Select (subscription required) has reported that the match has been called off. The report states that Rosa’s obligations with the National Wrestling Alliance have prevented her from going through with the match.
However, it was also mentioned that Warrior Wrestling is working to find a high-level replacement for the match. Kylie Rae is still scheduled to compete on June 5, meaning it will simply be against a different opponent. This would have been the second time Kylie Rae would have faced Thunder Rosa in a singles match. The first was at an AAW show in Austin, Texas in 2018 where Kylie Rae picked up the win.
This will be Kylie Rae’s first match since stepping away from the business last fall.
