A major match that is currently planned for AEW All Out 2024 following All In at Wembley Stadium has been revealed.
When former AEW World Champion ‘Hangman’ Adam Page made his return to AEW back in July as part of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, he had his sights set on one man; current AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland.
Many believed that Hangman would end up winning the tournament to face off with Strickland for the title at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, which ultimately didn’t end up being the case, when the tournament was won by Bryan Danielson.
Fans have wondered when the match between Page and Strickland will be set to take place, with the rivalry continuing to be built ahead of All In, and we now have our answer.
Ibou of WrestlePurists previously noted that he had heard that the match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland was planned to take place at AEW All Out in Chicago next month, and Fightful Select (subscription required), has now confirmed that report.
Whether or not the match will be for the AEW World Championship is currently up in the air, with him set to defend the championship against Bryan Danielson at All In next weekend.
