Major Match Added To WWE Evolution 2025

A big match has been added to the Sunday, July 13 WWE Evolution 2025 premium live event in Atlanta, Georgia.

With under two weeks to go before Evolution, the only match that had been announced prior to tonight’s Raw was the NXT Women’s Championship match between Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace,

However, during Raw, WWE kicked off the build to Evolution with a big announcement right at the start of the show.

Kicking off Raw was Rhea Ripley, who defeated Raquel Rodriguez in a Riyadh Boulevard Street Fight at Night of Champions two days ago.

Before long, Ripley was interrupted by Women’s World Champion IYO SKY, who defeated Ripley for the title in February and then retained it at WrestleMania against both Ripley and Bianca Belair in a three-way match.

SKY told Ripley that Raw General Manager Adam Pearce had given SKY the chance to pick her own opponent for Evolution, and she wanted to defend her title against the best.

“The best”, in this case, is Rhea Ripley, as SKY called Ripley out for a match.

Of course, Ripley accepted the offer for a title match, and the match is now set for WWE Evolution.
