A major name has reportedly told people that he is headed to London ahead of AEW All In at Wembley Stadium this weekend.
Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Sting officially retired from the squared circle back at AEW Revolution in March, when he and Darby Allin defeated the Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Following his retirement, Sting has yet to make another appearance on AEW television, though that may come to an end this weekend.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Sting has been backstage at recent AEW Collision episodes, and the Icon has reportedly told numerous people close to him that he is set to make the trip to London for AEW All In.
It is not known whether Sting will simply be visiting the event, or if he was planned to make an on-screen appearance on the pay-per-view itself.
Sting competed at last year’s AEW All In event, where he and Darby Allin defeated Christian Cage and Swerve Strickland in a Coffin Match.
Darby is set for another Coffin match at this year’s event, when he challenges Jack Perry for the TNT Championship.
